Read/Write.

I just finished reading Neal Stephenson’s Baroque Cycle. It is a good series, but it is very long, and quite complicated. Not sure what I am going to read next; I don’t currently have any books I haven’t already read. I’ll probably reread The Diamond Age or Zodiac; however, I might reread Heinlein’s Time Enough for Love, which I haven’t read recently.
I’ve been working on my college applications; I’m currently focusing on writing an essay about a project I’ve been working on this summer, and I think that my next revision will be good. I should get started on filling out the fiddly bits of the applications, too. I think that I am on top of the process, though, which is a good thing.

If you’re looking for reading suggestions, I recommend Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother. Click on the link to get more depth on what I think of the book from my personal weblog.

Serendipitously, today’s the day an article of mine about enjoyable security-related reads was published at TechRepublic, called 5 good security reads. If you enjoy Stephenson, you’ll probably enjoy those recommendations.

I read Little Brother the other day. I thought it was good, if a bit frightening.
